Billing, trials and cancelling: Vibel vs Vibel Reply
Vibel bills through Shopify, with a 14-day trial for a genuine first-time subscriber, and cancelling moves you straight to the Free plan with nothing deleted. Reply bills separately through Stripe, with its own Free plan and no trial period on its paid tiers.
Vibel: Shopify Billing
Vibel's paid plans are billed through Shopify's own App Subscriptions on Settings > Plans, so the charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice rather than a separate card charge. A genuine first-time subscriber gets a 14-day trial; a brand that has subscribed before, on this plan or another, is charged immediately on upgrade or re-subscribe, which is the standard protection against trial-stacking by switching plans.
Cancelling Vibel
Settings > Plans has an explicit 'Cancel plan' control whenever you are on a paid tier, not only a 'switch to Free' button that could read as hiding the exit.
- 1Open Settings > Plans.
- 2Click 'Cancel plan' and read the confirmation, which states plainly what happens: Shopify ends the subscription immediately, with no notice period, and the account moves to the Free plan.
- 3Confirm. Nothing is deleted: orders, settings, watchers and creatives all stay in the workspace on the Free plan.
- Want a copy first? 'Download my data' sits right next to the cancel control, so leaving is never the only way to get an export.
Vibel Reply: Stripe
Reply bills separately, through Stripe, with its own Free plan plus paid tiers managed from Reply's own Billing page. There is no trial period coded into Reply's paid tiers today; a paid plan is charged from the start, unlike Vibel's 14-day Shopify trial.
Only the workspace owner can manage Reply's billing; a workspace member without that role cannot open the billing portal.
- 1Open Billing inside Reply.
- 2Click Manage to open Stripe's own Customer Portal, not a custom Vibel screen, where you can change plan, cancel, or view invoices.
- 3Cancel from inside that Stripe portal; it behaves exactly as Stripe's own cancellation flow does.
