The priority feed, and how an item resolves
Priorities on Home is the priority feed: every open watcher firing, ranked by severity, dollar impact and recency. Each item carries an action and moves through open, acted, dismissed or resolved.
What the priority feed is
Priorities, on Home, is Vibel's priority feed: the still-open firings from every watcher across inventory, ads, margin, tickets, shipping and creators, ranked so the thing worth doing first is at the top. It is not a list of everything that happened, only what still needs you.
What to do now (/coach) draws on the same underlying signals and reframes the busiest ones as plain-language actions. The two overlap on purpose: Priorities is the raw ranked feed, Coach is the curated top slice.
Every item carries an action, never a bare notification
A watcher never just pings. Each firing is one of: notify (rare, genuinely FYI), task (creates an item on Tasks with an owner and due date), draft (writes a reply or a chase for one-click send), suggest (one yes/no decision, like approving a reorder), or auto_execute (only for a narrow set of watchers with explicit guardrails, like pausing a disapproved ad).
How an item resolves
A priority-feed item has one of four statuses: open (still showing in the feed), acted (you did something about it), dismissed (you chose to ignore it), or resolved (the underlying condition cleared, for example stock was replenished). Only open items count toward the feed and the "N priorities" number on Home.
Once an item leaves the open state, it drops off Priorities and moves into Watcher history (/history), which keeps the full record, including everything already handled, so nothing that fired is ever actually lost.
Good to know
- If Priorities is empty, that is the intended good state, not a bug. Check History to see what was resolved recently.
- Turn a watcher off entirely from Watchers (/settings/watchers) if it is not relevant to your store; a disabled watcher never fires and never adds to the feed.
