Design your product images (the feed image editor)

Add badges, buttons, text and USP lists to your product photos right inside the feed editor. Everything sits in its own slot on the image so nothing ever overlaps, and what you see is exactly what Meta, Google and Pinterest receive.

Slides, blocks and slots

Open a feed at /feeds and find the "Design your product images" section. A carousel is one or more slides, and each slide is your product photo (or a color, a lifestyle scene, or your own uploaded image) plus whatever you add on top: text, a badge, a button, an image, a list of USPs, or star ratings.

Every one of those pieces lives in its own fixed slot on the image, corners, top and bottom bands, or a left/right panel. Nothing can ever be dragged on top of something else or clipped off the edge: the slots simply do not overlap, so your headline never lands on top of your badge no matter how much text you type.

Good to know

  • Long text automatically shrinks to fit its slot, and only truncates with an ellipsis as a last resort. You will never see text spill out of its box.
  • A left or right panel slot can hold a short stack of blocks, useful for a review quote plus stars, or a headline plus a USP list.

Start from a template

You do not have to start from a blank canvas. Pick a template from the gallery, a circle badge, a split layout, a review panel, a sale banner and it fills the slide with real, already-positioned blocks. From there every block is yours to edit: change the text, the color, the size, or swap it out entirely. Templates are a starting point, never a locked layout.

  1. Open a feed at /feeds and scroll to "Design your product images".
  2. Pick a template from the gallery, or start from a blank product photo.
  3. Click any block to edit its text, color and size, or add a new block into an open slot.
  4. Add more slides the same way to build a full carousel.

Save your own look

Once you have a design you like, name it and save it as a look. Saved looks show up alongside the built-in templates next time, so your whole catalog can share one consistent style without you rebuilding it slide by slide.

What the channels receive

The exact design you see in the editor is what gets composited and sent to Meta, Google and Pinterest, there is no separate rendering step that might look different. Each slide becomes one image in the product's photo carousel, drawing from your live Shopify product photo underneath your design.
