Creator payouts, attribution & returns
Orders attribute to a creator by discount code or UTM; payout is commission per SKU; and returns, cancellations and test orders are excluded.
How orders attribute
On the Creators board (/creators), an order matches a creator through their discount codes (the strongest signal) or their UTM tokens. Matching is case-insensitive: codes join on the order's checkout discount codes, and UTM tokens match inside utm_source and utm_campaign.
The board shows each creator's revenue, orders, AOV, unique customers and their ROAS vs what they cost you. If you have not entered a creator's cost (fee plus gifted product), ROAS shows "set cost" until you do.
Payout on the drop dashboard
On a drop's live dashboard, payout is driven by commission per SKU. The breakdown table lists units, per-unit rate and payout per product, with a running total. If no commission is configured, the creator sees a note to contact the brand.
Returns and excluded orders
The live totals only count real sales. Cancelled orders and test orders are excluded, and refunded units are subtracted per SKU for orders that belong to the drop. The dashboard footer states plainly that cancelled, test and returned orders are excluded, so payouts reflect what the creator actually earned.
