What it calculates
The break-even ROAS calculator (/breakeven-roas-calculator) takes four inputs: selling price, supplier cost, shipping cost, and transaction fee percentage. It outputs your break-even ROAS, your max CPA (maximum cost per acquisition before you lose money), your product margin percentage, and your estimated profit at a target ROAS you set.
Break-even ROAS = 1 / product margin. A 20% margin means you need 5x ROAS to break even. A 50% margin means 2x. Same ad revenue, completely different profitability.
Who it is for
The calculator is primarily built for dropshippers who need to know their break-even before they start a campaign. It is free, requires no login, and lives on the marketing site so you can share it with suppliers or media buyers.

Good to know
- The transaction fee field defaults to 2.9% (Shopify Payments standard). Adjust it to match your payment processor.
