Stockout alerts and demand forecast
Vibel forecasts how many days of stock each SKU has left and surfaces a reorder-by date before you run out. The same signal feeds Coach and the weekly report's 'why sales moved' card.
How the forecast works
Vibel tracks on-hand inventory from Shopify and calculates a daily sell rate per SKU from the last 120 days of orders. From those two numbers it computes days until stockout and a reorder-by date (stockout date minus your lead time).
A SKU is flagged at risk when its days until stockout is at or below your lead time plus a safety buffer. The closer to zero, the higher the severity.
Where you see it
Coach (/coach) surfaces at-risk and out-of-stock SKUs as high or medium priority actions with a specific reorder-by date when your costs include a lead time.
The weekly report (Figures at /analytics/weekly) includes a 'why sales moved' card that can reference stock as a driver when a SKU ran out or was restocked in the reporting window.
Good to know
- Set production days and shipping days in Settings > Costs per SKU to get accurate reorder-by dates. Without lead time, Vibel can still tell you days until stockout but cannot give you a reorder deadline.
- A SKU already at zero available units appears as out of stock in Coach immediately, regardless of the forecast.
