Install the web tracking pixel

Paste Vibel's first-party tracking snippet into your storefront to capture on-site events like sessions and conversions.

What the pixel does

The web tracking snippet sends a first-party beacon per event from your storefront. It uses a simple request so there is no CORS preflight, and the collector parses the event regardless of content type.

The unguessable ingest token in the snippet is the credential, so no login is needed for the storefront to send events.

Install it

Add a tracking source, then paste its snippet into your theme.

Open Settings > Web tracking.
Add a tracking source to generate a snippet.
Copy the snippet and paste it just before the closing </head> tag on your storefront.
Save and publish your theme.
