Watchers (the moat)

Watchers are the engine underneath Vibel: rules that watch your event stream and fire when something needs action. Turn them on or off in settings.

What watchers do

Watchers are the heart of Vibel. They watch the normalized event stream from your connected sources and fire when a condition is met. Every firing carries an action or exactly one decision, never a bare notification, so the priority feed stays worth reading.

Kinds of watcher include thresholds (a metric crosses a line), absence checks (an expected event did not happen, like no carrier scan in days), anomalies (deviation from a rolling baseline) and correlations (multiple conditions firing together).

Turn them on and off

Watchers (/settings/watchers) lists your watchers so you can enable or disable each one. Disabled watchers are skipped on every run.

Good to know

  • The deterministic rules decide whether something fires; AI only ranks the firings and drafts the response.
